VAM SW

VAM® SW is a high performance Premium connection dedicated to Steam Well applications whether used for Heavy Oil developments or within an Enhanced Oil Recovery (EOR) program of mature fields. VAM® SW was specifically designed to safely contain injection steam under the most extreme temperature variations, and high number of cycles deriving into high life span expectancy.

Applicable range

  • VAM® SW is available in Casing sizes from 5" to 13 3/8"
  • Typical material grades range from 55 ksi to 95 ksi on Carbon steel, to benefit from high ductility properties
  • Several VAM® SW designs to choose from based on the required performance

Application

  • VAM® SW is particularly suitable for Cyclic Steam Stimulation (CSS), also called "Huff & Puff" which puts a lot of strain, up to 3%, on the steam injection cemented Casing.
  • VAM® SW is as well suitable for for SAGD steam injectors.
  • VAM® SW provides a reliable and long-lasting solution where ever Butress (BTC) hydraulic sealibility and limited Tension - Compression capacity leads to early catastrophic failure.
