Material & Pipe - Special Drift

Requirements for Special Drift is growing in diversity in order to preserve an always larger and more workable bore hole size. It often goes beyond API so-called "Alternative Drift", and even API tolerances. Sumitomo is virtually capable to design and manufacture any kind of Special Drift tubular, associated sometimes with oversized OD tolerance.

  • Consider 7" 38# Drift 5.875" instead of API 5.795"
  • Consider 7" 32# Drift 6.000" x 12" long instead of API Alternative 6.000" x 6" long
  • Consider 13 3/8" 86# Drift 12.000" instead of API 11.969"
