347AP (UNS
S34751) (Anti-Polythionic Acid)

- 347AP is a modified type347 stainless steel
which has been developed for desulfuring plants
in the petroleum refinery industries. 347AP
has high resistance to polythionic acid SCC
on welded joints without post-weld heat treatment.
The steel has a high temperature strength equivalent
to that of TP347 and better weldability than
TP347. 347AP stainless steel offers property
advantages over conventional TP321 and TP347
stainless steels.
