pipes and tubes to every industrial sector
such as energy development, automobile,
chemical, construction and environmental
contribution. Customer satisfaction is

constantly maintain our reputation.
In our Wakayama
plant, which has a “state-of-the-art”
mid-size seamless pipe mill (high toe-angle
piercing process), we manufacture carbon
and alloy seamless pipes.
In our Amagasaki
plant, we manufacture many kinds of
high-end seamless pipes such as super-alloy
OCTG, high-quality stainless tubes for
boilers and chemical plants, steam generator
tubes for nuclear power plant and ethylene
cracking internal fin tubes.
In accord with the demand growth for
“clean energy” natural gas,
we expect that the demand for high-end
seamless pipe is going to increase. That
means our responsibility is expanding.
In our Kashima
plant, we manufacture welded pipes
which is used in energy fields such as
oil and natural gas pipelines.
From carbon steel to super-alloy stainless
steel in all sizes, we, Sumitomo Metals
Pipe and Tube Company, are the only company
who can meet all the needs of our customers.
